According to the article, a new study shows that women are attracted to men who look like their fathers and men are attracted to women who resemble their mothers. The find is reported in the Proceedings of the Royal Society, Biological Sciences, by Prof Bereczkei of the Institute of Psychology, University of Pécs, Hungary.
The article mentions that the discovery may help to explain "why it is that the pop star Kim Wilde fell for her husband Hal Fowler, who has similar looks to her father Marti Wilde".
