Kim faces credit crunch in Augsburg, Germany

""
October 26, 2008 - The news these days is overcome with the latest about the credit crunch. It was also the theme of last night's Presseball in Augsburg, Germany, where Kim performed live.

The theme of the evening seemed to be 'red', with people dressing in red, the stage lit dominantly in red and everyone talking about the stock trades going red all around the world. In the middle of all this, the Augsburger Presseball was a good opportunity to do some charity for the local German region around Augsburg. Expensive tickets for expensive people, with music by some veterans of the music world.

"It's really great to perform at a ball that raises money for people who need it", said Roger Hodgson, formerly from Supertramp, at the press conference. Other artists performing during the evening were Nick van Eede from Cutting Crew and Bobby Kimball from Toto. Kim made her own statement on stage: "It is a crazy world. How good that there's music. And when it's just a pop song, we thank God that there are pop songs."

Pictures of the evening are available on this website and on this website.
