Kim launches Harrod Horticultural stand at Chelsea

May 10, 2008 - To help launch their stand, Harrod Horticultural has secured an appearance from Kim Wilde on the official press day of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Kim will appear at the stand on May 19, when journalists roam the grounds of the biggest flowershow in the UK one day before the general public is allowed to come in.

Although the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is generally known for its displays, the five-day event features a total of 600 exhibitors, as top garden designers and businesses stand side-by-side in a tribute to everything green. One of the trade stalls is filled by the Lowestoft-based firm Harrod Horticultural. The mail-order company has attended the show for the last five years, picking up two commendations in that time. This year their exhibit is based on the theme of inspiring organic fruit and vegetable growing and is set to feature fruit cages, gardening tools and organic products all exclusively designed and made at their Lowestoft premises.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to see people face-to-face and get feedback on the designs and products we sell,” said Jonathan Couch, marketing manager for Harrod Horticultural.

Kim will be a columnist on the Harrod Horticultural website. To read her articles, go to this page to register and receive e-mail updates from Harrod Horticultural.
