Kim Wilde and Born Crain live in Brussels
The concert took place on July 3, on the occasion of the annual Wilkinson American Movie Day on which several movies were premiered in the cinema on Independence Day.
Kim met Born Crain for the first time while she was in Brussels, and they rehearsed their two songs together during soundcheck on the Place de Brouckère in the afternoon.
The concert itself took place later on the day, with Kim taking to the stage at half past ten in the evening. The setlist included several covers, including one which was never performed by Kim before: 'I drove all night', previously perfomed by Roy Orbison and Cyndi Lauper. This was one of the two songs she performed with Born, the other one being 'If I can't have you'.
You can find more information about Born Crain and the song I drove all night in Wilde Life's encyclopedia.
