Kim's first Toppop performance on dvd

September 20, 2008 - For the second time, EMI Netherlands have released two double dvd sets containing recordings from the legendary Dutch TV programme Toppop. Kim is featured on one of them.

'Toppop dvd 7 & 8' contains the first ever Kim Wilde performance on Toppop, recorded in 1981 when she debuted with 'Kids in America'. It was originally broadcast on April 24, 1981.
Among the extra features in this set is an edit of a lengthy interview with Kim, originally broadcast on December 3, 1986.

'Toppop dvd 5 & 6' does not contain any Kim Wilde material.

The two dvd sets that were released in December last year (as reported earlier) contained two later performances. Hopefully possible further releases will bring back more Kim Wilde performances on Toppop from the vaults.
