Listen to the Wilde Life mixtape!

The Wilde Life mixtape consists of twelve tracks that are streamed online. You can only listen to them, you cannot download them (don't ask...), but if at all possible, you can buy the tracks!

This month's selection consists of the following tracks:

Kim Wilde - Kids in America (live)

Taken from Kim's most recent cd-single release 'Baby obey me', it's a live recording of her February 21 performance at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium. This track was released in a live version for the first time ever.

Blue Nile - Tomorrow Morning

Taken from their 1996 album 'Peace at last'. The Blue Nile is one of Kim's favourite bands, and when you hear this optimistic track you can appreciate why.

Sonic Hub - Colours

A track from Sonic Hub's 2006 album 'Eye of the storm', featuring vocals by Roxanne Wilde. Sonic Hub is of course the band co-founded by Ricky Wilde, Kim's brother.

Snow Patrol - I Am An Astronaut

One of Britain's top band covered this 1973 Ricky Wilde track for a children's charity album. It's a great version of this song, written by Marty Wilde for his then 12 year old son.

Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence

Original version of the track that Kim played live with her band during last year's Perfect Girl tour.

Chekov & Gagarin - View From A Bridge (Extended Version)

Cover version of Kim's fourth single. This electronic version is one of the more interesting covers of Kim's songs.

Visage - Fade To Grey

Classic electropop track by Steve Strange and co. Well-known from the 2002 incarnation of the Here & Now Tour.

Ultravox - The Voice

Midge Ure performed this track live during the 2004 Here & Now Tour. The original version by his band Ultravox has stood the test of time very well.

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

Pop chameleon David Bowie released this track back in 1979. Kim toured with him 11 years later.

Marty Wilde - Endless Sleep

A timeless classic from Kim's father Marty.

Kylie Minogue - On A Night Like This

A great pop track by Kylie. Kim's sister Roxanne is touring with her right now. Some have compared this track with Kim's 'Maybe I'm crazy'.

Dimestars - Echo Beach

Another track featuring Roxanne. This is a cover version of the Martha & the Muffins track, as featured on the unreleased album by Dimestars.
