Rare 1981 interview unearthed
January 24, 2009 - A very old interview with Kim Wilde has been unearthed from the vaults of a local radio station. You can read it exclusively on Wilde Life!
Dutch journalist and DJ Frans Versteeg interviewed Kim Wilde in April 1981, just before the release of her second single 'Chequered love'. In the interview, Kim talks about how she got signed by Mickie Most, her musical influences and her brother Ricky's past. Most of these stories are not new, but since the interview took place so very early on in her career, the quotes are much more reliable than later comments.
