'Shoot the DJ' website launched
October 4, 2009 - Today the website for the Sonic Hub movie 'Shoot the DJ' has been launched. The movie can be pre-ordered on DVD from the website!
'Shoot the DJ' is directed by Kim's brother Rick Wilde, Sean Vincent, Dan Peters and Andre Renner. It also marks the acting debut of Kim, who appears as herself in the movie. Her niece Scarlett is featuring in a role playing 'Kim Wilde 1981'. The movie also stars Tony Hadley, Victoria Hopkins and Hal Fowler.
Instead of submitting the movie to film festivals and trying to get a distributor for it, 'Shoot the DJ' is being released to DVD immediately. According to a statement on the website, 'should a distributor come along at any point and offer us a deal that makes sense, then we're not going to pass it up'.
