Anton Corbijn's birthday message for Kim Wilde
November 18, 2010 - Besides the video messages for Kim Wilde's 50th birthday which we published earlier today, there's also one written message for Kim, by none other than Anton Corbijn.
Anton worked with Kim at the very beginning of her career. He did a couple of photo session with her in 1981/1982 and designed the covers of the singles 'View from a bridge' and 'Child come away', as well as creating much of the photographs of Kim's first tourbook in 1982.
His message to Kim is as follows:
hello KIM my dear 50 year young friend, i had a crush on you when we met!!!
shock horror, finally revealed.
happy birthday dear Kim, enjoy the sounds from yourself and from nature.
