Exclusive Kids in America remix by Blank & Jones

""
March 19, 2010 - Today sees the German online iTunes exclusive release of the second edition of the very succesful 'so8os' compilation series. The compilation includes a new remix of 'Kids in America' by Blank & Jones.

'so80s' volume 2 is a collection of original 12" mixes of the 80s and contains brilliant artists like Duran Duran, O.M.D., Ultravox, Kajagoogoo and many more.

After Kim's hit 'Cambodia' appeared on the first edition, the new release
features an exclusive 'Blank & Jones so8os remix' of Kids in America. The two producers and artists have worked with Bernard Sumner (New Order), Robert Smith (The Cure) and Pet Shop Boys recently and also did remixes for
Freddie Mercury, the Killers, Moby and Yello.

The first ever record Piet Blank ever bought was Kim Wilde's Kids in America and he stayed a huge fan of Kim's releases ever since. So it was something very special for them to get their hands on this classic song.
The result is within the theme of so8os. No club or dance remix, but a
modern version in an Eighties style.

You can now enjoy this mix as an exclusive bonus track on the compilation release 'so8os 2'.

Release dates are as follows:
March 19 - exclusive pre-release on iTunes Germany, Austria, Switzerland
March 26 - nationwide release on all online shops, plus the release of the
3cd deluxe box
April 5 - Rest of the world online release
