Kim Wilde in Dutch Top 2000
December 22, 2010 - Dutch radio station Radio 2 has published its annual Top 2000 of all times. As always, Kim is listed in the chart - and she's doing well!
Just like last year, Kim is listed twice. Her duet with Nena, 'Anyplace, anywhere, anytime' has gone up from number 735 to number 736, and the classic single 'Cambodia' jumped from number 1175 to number 1037.
The Top 2000 is broadcast from December 25 to December 31 and is a good indication of the favourite pop music in the Netherlands. The chart started in 1999 to celebrate the new millennium, but its success inspired the producers to make this an annual event. The number 1 has been 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen for the previous 11 editions, but this year, the top spot was taken in by the Eagles with 'Hotel California'.
