Kirsty MacColl Tribute appearance for Kim Wilde
July 18, 2010 - Kim Wilde is to appear at a special tribute gig for the late Kirsty MacColl in October.
Celebrating Kirsty's birthday and marking the tenth year since her death, the tribute concert will be held at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 10th October 2010 and shall feature an amazing lineup of stars. As well as Kim, Alison Moyet, Eddi Reader, Catherine Tate, Amy MacDonald, Andrea Corr, Billy Bragg, David Gray, Ellie Goulding, James Walsh (Starsailor), Jackie Clune (from the musical Mamma Mia!), Phill Jupitus, Omar Puente and Shane MacGowan are all set to take to the stage.
With all profits of the tribute concert being donated to the Music Fund for Cuba, tickets will go on General Sale at 9am on July 23rd with the usual warning that the bill is subject to change.
