Laurent Voulzy got married
June 10, 2010 - On Friday, June 4, Laurent Voulzy got married. The 61-year-old popstar from France married Mirella Lepetit in France, with a party also being held in the UK.
Laurent is best known to Kim Wilde fans as the artist who recorded the single 'Les nuits sans Kim Wilde' in 1985. Having spent all of his nights without Kim Wilde, he finally met Mirella Lepetit. They had their son Quentin eight years ago but decided to finally get married.
Among those attending the wedding ceremony in Saint-Pierre Quiberon, a small village in Bretagne, France, were witness to the groom Alain Souchon, Alan Stivell and Nolwenn Leroy. In case anyone's wondering: Kim Wilde did not attend the festivities.
It's Laurent's second marriage. He was previously married to Betty, with whom he has two grown up children, Julien (40) and Nicolas (32).
