Kim Wilde wows the B.E.F. audience

October 17, 2011 - Heaven 17 hosted a special B.E.F. concert on Saturday, featuring a host of special guest stars including Kim, Ricky and Scarlett.

Kim performed three songs during her twelve minute appearance: 'Ghost in my house' (lyrics), 'Everytime I see you I go wild' (lyrics) and 'You keep me hangin' on', with Scarlett doing backing vocals and Ricky playing guitar. 'Ghost in my house' originally appeared on the first B.E.F. album in 1982, as sung by Paul Jones. 'You keep me hangin' on' also appeared on this album with vocals by Bernie Nolan. 'Everytime I see you I go wild', co-written by Stevie Wonder, will be included on the forthcoming B.E.F. album 'Dark', due in Spring 2012, with vocals by Kim.

Other artists appearing during the concert were Midge Ure, Sandie Shaw, Boy George, Green Gartside (from Scritti Politti), Shingai Shoniwa (from the Noisettes), Kate Jackson (from the Long Blondes) and Polly Scattergood.
