Sponsor Jamie and see him fly!
Rio is a 3D motion picture from Blue Sky Studios, the makers of the “Ice Age” films. The comedy-adventure centres on Blu, a rare macaw who leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota for the exotic wonders of Rio de Janeiro. But Blu’s new life and adventures in Rio are complicated by the fact that he can’t fly. Lucky for Blu, his new menagerie of friends are ready to help him find his inner-hero – and teach him what it really means to soar.
To get into the sprit of the movie, Magic FM's Jamie Edwards - who's used to mixing with the stars, has agreed to get a little closer to them, by getting the 'Rio' treatment in aid Magic's charity Cash For Kids, as he takes to the sky - strapped to the wing of a bi-plane! Magic FM will have a film crew on the ground and cameras attached to the plane, so Jamie's full ordeal can be witnessed! If enough money is raised for Cash For Kids they'll show the whole thing on the Magic FM website! Oh, and did we mention... Jamie's not good with heights!
To help us reach our early target of £1,000, you can sponsor Jamie via this link.
