British rock singer Kim Wilde travels to Portugal on the 5th of the next month, to promote her first LP, which has the title of the singer as its title. Cegundó informs the Portuguese label representing Kim Wilde, the singer will come to Lisbon to participate in an RTP program and in several radio programs.
Kim Wilde and daughter of the famous rock singer Marty Wilde, one of the precursors of “rock” in Great Britain. “I grew up with music, which has been present throughout my life. Now music will be my life,” says Kim Wilde.
Her first success, still in 1981, is called “Kids in America”, a “single” whose music was written by his brother Rick. Two months later Kim Wilde released “Chequered Love”, another “single” that preceded her album.
All of Kim Wilde’s material is already published in Portugal, with the exception of her most recent “single”, entitled “Cambodia”, which will come out when she is in Lisbon.
