Wrestler Big Daddy and pop singer Kim WIlde aim to help bring happiness to thousands of deprived youngsters. They will appear in Friday night’s BBC Children in Need appeal, which will link radio channels with BBC 1 in a marathon show which, it is hoped, will raise £2 million.
The BBC hopes viewers and listeners will promise donations by telephoning special numbers, or pay cash into banks and post offices.
