Kim Wilde is the subject of the mini-special of ‘Goeiemiddag’. The English singer had music in her blood, because her father is Marty Wilde. Although she was destined to become an illustrator, Kim left art school after a year and stepped into th pop business – thanks to the help of her brother, songwriter Ricky. The hoarse and strong voice of Kim Wilde started a true sensation with ‘Kids in America’. Since then, several hits and two excellent lp’s followed.
