The Wilde family, father, son and daughter Kim, have delivered a great album again. Musically is has become a piece of work that finds a middle ground between recognisable and innovative. The lyrics are also outstanding; every song constitutes a mysterious tale.
But there can be thought of some critique. At times, the sensitive, clear sound of Kims voice comes across as shrill and in a few songs the concept has been overwrought, erasing the spontaneity of the work. Still it’s never enough to make the grand quality of the album fall down.
Exceptional is the longer version of “Cambodia”.
