She was looking good when she arrived at Heathrow yesterday. Pop star Kim Wilde, 21-year-old daughter of Sixties rocker Marty, chose a grey and black striped outfit to make her entrance. She was feeling good, too. Kim had flown in from Los Angeles with a £1.5 million record contract in the offing. ‘I haven’t actually signed the piece of paper yet with Capitol Records’, she said, ‘but I expect to very soon’.
Her first record in the States will be… Kids in America. ‘I’m sure it will be a hit’, she said. ‘For me 1982 looks like being star spangled’.
