An 11-year-old Sunderland boy, Michael Hogg, a pupil at Witherwick Primary School, came second in the pop quiz ‘Chartbuster’ on the Tyne-Tees Television programme, ‘Razzmatazz’.
Though he answered all ten questions correctly, he wasn’t quite quick enough on the tie-breaker between him and a 14-year-old London schoolboy.
A radio and persoanl stereo cassette-player were among the prizes won by Michael, who also met pop stars Kim Wilde, Toto Coelo and Modern Romance.
