Clear the chairs, the wild Kim Wilde. This is the motto of the show, the most beautiful and fastest of the showcases in the Viennese Kurhalle Oberlaa: Kim Wilde (23), Scorpio, British, blond, beautiful and clever.
Kim is a family-run business: father, himself an old Rocker, writes the lyrics, the brother the music – from them hits like ‘Dancing in the Dark’, ‘Love Blonde’, ‘Kiss in America’, ‘View from a Bridge‘ and above all the earworm ‘Cambodia’.
The fact that Kim can afford her brawny pants on a makeshift figure has its good reason. So she said in advance: “Only medium steak, English vegetables for me – certainly no Viennese flour desserts!”
Kim is currently taking her suite at “Hilton Wien”. It is nevertheless strongly advised not to try and deal with her. Two “gorillas” guard her like their eyeballs. That the two bulls listen to the middle-class names Smith and Schmitt, is a weak consolation.
