‘Get those photographers out of here’, screamed Kim Wilde and laughing hard she hid her face behind her hands. During the second birthday party that the owner of London’s most exclusive night club ‘Camden Palace’, Visage-boss Steve Strange, gave for the London high society, Kim behaved very strangely. Much to the surprise of colleagues like Ray Davies, Mari Wilson and the new flame of Steve, Dollar-singer Thereze Bazar, Kim acted like a clown. With tears in her eyes from laughing she screamed at the photographers, surprising all the others. That the normally so seriously looking Kim had a few too much to drink is obvious from these photographs. Was her outburst due to the fact that a laughing Kim in the press would hurt her image? Or was she really drunk?
