Here are giggly pop girls Kim Wilde (left) and Thereze Bazar at a party earlier this week at Oxford Circus’s Video Cafe to launch a new British rock show.
Former Dollar singer Thereze, who is about to release her debut solo single, The Big Kiss, was entertaining everyone with the tale of her rubber mini-skirt. The garment mysteriously disappeared from her caravan dressing-room while she was filming a television show in Munich the other day.
“My caravan was parked between one for Bronski Beat and one for Paul Young”, she trills. “When I went to change, the skirt had gone. I left and came back later and it was laid out neatly on the dressing table. I know it had been tried on because I’d dusted the inside with talcum powder – it’s the only way to wriggle into it, and it was plastered with man-size fingerprints…
