Review – Another Step

If ‘Teases And Dares’ was Kim Wilde’s rock album, ‘Another Step’ would rather be her soul album. Or funk. Without either trend being preponderant. This sixth LP – including his ‘best of’ – effectively manages to balance between one and the other without neglecting the more brilliant aspect (before, we said ‘catchy’) of the compositions. This earned us an excellent titular track, a series of inspired pop songs but also a golden ‘Brothers’ with sensitivity. To savor, as always!
