Boy George’s drug addiction had a big effect on his musician colleagues! George’s bad luck and the fact that drugs are becoming a bigger problem among young people, made an array of superstars like The Alarm, Eurythmics, Nik Kershaw, Bananarama, Feargal Sharkey and many others come together to record an anti-drugs single! Frankie Goes To Hollywood-singer Holly Johnson comments: ‘It wasn’t just Boy George’s heroin addiction that made us record this single against drugs. Every day hundred of young people die because of drug addiction! With our album ‘Live in world’ we hope to bring together a lot of money, to be used in the fight against drugs!’. The single ‘Live in World’ was recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studio, brought to the world’s attention by The Beatles.
