Outside of the Motown classic’s safe embrace, Kim Wilde tries to make her own hit. “You Keep Me Hangin ‘On” may well be one of the ten best pop songs of all time, and the leap is far to this one, which, for the sake of effect, is one of the ten worst of the time.
