Pop star Kim Wilde partied in Hitchin and played snooker in Stevenage on a whirlwind tour of local youth clubs.
The 26-year-old singer who lives in Tewin was just in time to catch the first birthday party celebrations at the Caldicott Youth Centre in Highbury Road, Hitchin.
Youth and community Worker Mary Wild said: “The place was packed but she was great cutting our cake and chatting to everyone.”
The whistlestop tour to boost youth clubs in the county was organised by the Herts Association of Youth Clubs. Kim also found time to stop off at Stevenage’s Bowes Lyon House.
