Pop star Kim Wilde joined the Daily Mail campaign to Save Our Seals yesterday by modelling a special sweatshirt created by leading fashion designer Elizabeth Emanuel.
Net profits from every top sold will go towards helping these animals struck down by a deadly new virus.
Last night Kim, who was due to fly out to Germany with the Michael Jackson world tour, said: 'I was so distraught when I read in the Daily Mail about their plight. It's really great what the Daily Mail is doing. People have been aware of this situation for a while but we needed someone like the Mail to bring it to everybody's attention. We've all got to do something before it's too late. Everyone must buy a sweatshirt today. I want to see everybody wearing these sweatshirts.'
