Not Mel & Kim from “Respectable”. But Kim Wilde, who does her best to come across as less respectable and Mel Smith, best known from “Not the nine o’clock news” and the satire programme “Alas Smith & Jones”. This duo has made a Christmas record, entitled “Rockin Around The Christmas Tree”. Just like in Kim’s previous video the scissors of the censor had to come and do their work. Not because it was scandalous, but because Mel got into a fridge in the video, which they thought was a dangerous example for children. It’s not going well in England. Our fridges are way too full to put children in them.
