Kim Wilde has dropped plans to move into a 16th century Hertfordshire barn which cost her £200,000 since she has landed the support act spot on the Michael Jackson tour.
Her 30 concerts with Jacko will earn Kim £2million and she has decided she can afford something much grander.
Kim, 27, says: “It is a beautiful home, just the kind of old-fashioned thing I like, with beautiful oak beams all over the place. I have decided not to move into it but there is no way I will sell it. I shall do it up and keep it as an investment.”
Kim’s main base is a £180,000 flat in the St. John’s Wood area of London.
