In the course of years Kim Wilde has outgrown the image of the nice little blonde who sang simple singalong tunes into the charts, aided by her family. On 'Love moves' the blonde is still there, just like those happy songs, only now they are all written by herself, albeit in coproduction with either brother Ricki or Tony Swain, but still.
With her songs Kim shows that she has listened well to her family. 'Love moves' is a likeable, nice-to-listen-to pop album. Here and there Jaki Graham helps out for a bit. 'It's here' is already a hit. Serious single candidates: all other nine pieces, but especially 'World in perfect harmony' and 'In Hollywood'
