Kim Wilde

Kim Wilde remembers her first job well: “When I was about ten years old I cleaned the house of my piano teacher, who lived together with another old woman”, the singer laughs. “The stairs were incredibly dirty and they also had a pair of dogs. The whole house smelled of them. But I do have good memories of it. The teacher was a very spiritual woman; she believed that spirits took care of you and she could also see them. She was a little strange, but she did teach me to play the piano. It was something truly wonderful for me, because it helped me to become a songwriter. From the money I earned back then I bought jewellery.”
