Kim Wilde is British and family friendly. We remember her dad Marty and brother Ricki blessing us with sounds from the pop singing altar. So did Kim Wilde who we think has such nice initials. Her mom, Joyce, is Kim’s manager and we are wondering how an adult woman can sell her daughter as cheaply as she does. Unfortunately, KW also has this “come and take me” look that annoys more than invites. If the cover is meant to derail the music then it is full flap, we listen quite sour to Kim’s tones on the album Love Is (MCA/BMG). We were not pleasantly surprised either. Love Is, we can dance and drink well, but we do not think that any great literary or musical work. But let justice prevail and test out the product even if you like superficial pop sung by a great voice.
