The group Right Said Fred is approached by Michael Jackson’s management to open a few shows in Europe for the star. Members of the group reacted very enthusiastically to the tentative request. ‘As long as we don’t have to wear white socks we’ll do anything for Michael’, was their commentary. A few years ago this meant the fullscale breakthrough for Kim Wilde, who supported Michael Jackson in Europe. Kim: “The same thing could happen for RSF. You do play for enormous amounts of people who don’t necessarily know your work.”
