Kim Wilde travelled 1,000 miles just to buy a dress – after she discovered a London store had run out. The blonde singer was desperate to get hold of a new designer frock . that she had spotted in fashion Vogue magazine. But Kim found that the £3,000 salmon dress was out of stock. Undaunted, the star – at No. 16 with Love is Holy – jumped on a plane to Italy and bought it there instead.
Says Kim: “I wanted the dress for my new video. I fell in love with the pictures in Vogue and just had to have it.”
