Kim & Alex spin a yarn

There’s nothing better than a little yarn between friends. ‘Heartbreak High’ star Alex Dimitriades and pop diva Kim Wilde, hereby documented as “just good friends”, get cosy in new winter knitwear.
This season’s knitwear offerings are exceptional and work well as pared down alternative to the boyish suit.
Knits are fluffy, soft, light, textured, cropped, shrunk and layered for winter. Yarns are mixed to create muted palettes but chocolate brown is the color.
Mohair and angora knits, styled for a punk or romantic feel, are new, along with the return of silky chenile sweaters.
Fresh looks are shrunk knits and V-necks, croped top over a long white shirts, or with an extra-long knit underneath.
Unfinished looks, exposed seams, blanket stitching, wood buttons and fringing are new details on knits which are either oversized or miserly in shape.
Taking Kim and Alex’s lead, pull on some comfy knits and keep warm, or, if you’re lucky, get hot and bothered with a “friend”.
