Raunchy singer Kim Wilde is tying the knot with actor Hal Fowler, her co-star in the rock opera Tommy.
He popped the question when they took time off from the London hit show for a romantic break in France earlier this week.
Kim, 35, daughter of veteran rocker Marty Wilde, has not yet set a date for the wedding.
But her family said yesterday: “They are deeply in love and it will be in the very near future.” Kim is seven years older than Hal. Her mum was a member of the 60s singing group, The Vernon Girls.
