Pop singer Kim Wilde, who weds actor Hal Fowler this weekend, is determined her big day will be private and down-to-earth. The couple have spurned offers of exclusive coverage of tomorrow’s ceremony at Codicote, Hertfordshire.
“We saw what happened when Paul Gascoigne got married just down the road, and Kim doesn’t want a media circus”, a friend said.
