The search is on for Britain’s most hands-on gardener of 2001. In 2000, Elizabeth Brown from Lancashire won the Atr1xo Handy Mandy Award for her DIY skills. This year, handcare experts Atrixo are looking to present the award to someone who has made a real difference to their garden through creativity and hard work.
For the Winner, Atrixo are offering £5,000 of gardening vouchers. Two runners-up will each receive £1,000 worth of vouchers.
The prizes will go to the people who can show they have achieved the best garden transformation. And 200 runners-up will each receive a tube of Atrixo Regenerating Treatment. Kim Wilde, the BOs pop star who presents BBC show Garden Invaders, is the face of Atrixo. She honed her green fingered skills 10 years ago when she bought a run-down barn in Hertfordshire and set about converting an acre of grass into a beautiful and impressive garden.
For tired, sore hands, she recommends moisturising twice a day with Atrixo Regenerating Treatment.
It will provide instant relief after gardening, and keep hands soft and supple. With Liposomes and Vitamin E it nourishes the skin and protects against the harmful effects of weather, water and work in the garden.
Budding gardeners should send in a photograph of their garden both before and after the transformation (enclose an SAE if you’d like your photos back).
