The first celebrity luncheon hosted by Hertfordshire magazine, to raise money for a dedicated breast unit in WGC, has been hailed a success. Eighty guests raised more than £1,000 for the East Herts Breast Unit Appeal at the Brocket Hall bash on Friday.
Celebrity gardener and singer Kim Wilde said: “Thank you all for supporting this wonderful campaign”. Vicki Adkins, who set up and runs the campaign, said: “I want to thank everyone who took part. It was a lovely y and a great boost to our £500,000 target.”
