Tv garden designer – and former pop star – Kim Wilde is backing a campaign to help free women from the misery of PMS. She’s a detox devotee and supports natural remedies to overcome PMS. The condition affects most women – from breast tenderness, tearfulness before a period and snapping at partner or children.
Says Kim: “The menstrual cycle can be an emotional rollercoaster but we needn’t suffer in silence and just accept PMS as a fact of life. There are remedies that should be part of a woman’s daily routine. I take evening primrose oil, vitamin B6 and magnesium as they are important for maintaining female health.”
At Holland and Barrett, prices start at £2.29 for 30 500mg evening primrose capsules.
