During the time of advent the listeners to the Hessen-based commercial radio station Hit Radio FFH help those who are in need. And FFH invites their ‘FFH Christkinder’ to special concerts. Yesterday it started with the comeback of Kim Wilde – and next Sunday Bianca Ryan performs in Hessen.
The English rock diva Kim Wilde sang live during the second Sunday of Advent, live and unplugged during the FFH Christkinder concert in the evangelical church in Kirchbrombach in Odenwald. Christmas traditionals like ‘Silent night’ and ‘Rockin’ around the Christmas tree’ as well as her new hit ‘Perfect girl’ and her superhits ‘Cambodia’ and ‘Kids in America’.
FFH presenters Chris Peters and Daniel Fischer read Christmas poems and invited the audience for Glühwein and Punch. After the concert Kim Wilde and the presenters gave a cheque for 36.000 euro to Erhard Stahl from ‘Zwerg Nase’ in Wiesbaden. ‘Zwerg Nase’ helps families with handicapped and chronically ill children. Erhard Stahl: ‘Many thanks to all listeners of FFH, who have helped us’.
This week the FFH listeners help the ‘Marburger Tafel’, who helps poor people and especially children in need. Already with 5 euro the FFH listeners become an ‘FFH Christkind’ – all the info and the program of Hit Radio FFH on www.ffh.de. Between all the Christkinder tickets for the concert on third Advent Sunday (December 17) in Hohenroda-Mansbach bei Bad Hersfeld are distributed.
In the evangelical church Bianca Ryan sings her hit ‘Why couldn’t it be Christmas every day’. The 12 year old American girl won the tv show ‘America’s got talent’ in August. FFH presenters Chris Peters and Detlef Budig read Christmas stories – and also in Mansbach there are many surprises for the ‘FFH-Christkinder’. Tickets are not for sale.
