Early September Kim Wilde releases her tenth studio album after a long pause.
25 years after her first chart success, Kim Wilde releases ‘Never say never’ this autumn, her tenth studio album. The singer, who stormed the charts most recently with an English language version of ‘Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann’ in a duet with Nena, will again meet with her German colleague before the microphone.
This time the friends cover a song by Kim Wilde, namely ‘You keep me hangin’ on’. Another re-recording is intended for Kim’s first hit ‘Kids in America’, together with ex-Ash-guitarist Charlotte Hatherley. The first single will be ‘You came’, a piece with which Kim Wilde roamed the international hitparades in the early nineties.
Complete reactivation
There are six re-recordings in total on the new album. Just like the eight new songs they were all produced by Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen.
