Ninety builders from 13 countries went to the Netherlands and spent hours building an amazing domino set that would be demolished in seconds.
Eighties popstar Kim Wilde had the pleasure of being the official pusher enabling 4,079,381 dominoes to fall.
Hundreds of colourful figures, pictures and even an entire domino city fell in this year’s record attempt.
The crowd were ecstatic and the crazed contestants were thrilled with their triumph.
The World Domino Toppling record attempt has become something of a tradition. The first time it was tried, in 1988, competitors toppled 1,382,101 dominoes.
