The next act on the stage was one of the festival absolute topnames; english Kim Wilde. And it must be said that the blonde englishwoman is keeping up well just as her singing talent is. After getting over some soundproblems at the very start the gas was turned up for real and together with her band Wilde was part of delivering the days real big performance number 2.
There clearly was a big catalog of old megahits to play and together with Wilde’s and her bands lively stageperformance not one bad word could be said about this chapter of the Esbjerg 80’s festival. The tones of among others ‘Kids in America’ and ‘You keep me hanging on’ rumbled through the air as true Kim Wilde fans in genuine 80’s t-shirts jumped up and down in front of the stage.
