Kim Wilde, who had countless hits in the eighties, comes to the Oosterpoort on Thursday, November 15 for a concert.
It was a close call: eighties superstar Kim Wilde might never have started a comeback. The number 1 hit she scored with Nena (‘Anyway, anyhow, anywhere’) was a first step. It was the producer of that single (and Kim Wilde’s new album) who convinced her to come back into the limelight. On Thursday November 15 she performs in the big room of the Oosterpoort.
She scored many hits: ‘Kids in America’, ‘Chequered love’, ‘Cambodia’, ‘View from a bridge’, ‘Love Blonde’, ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’, ‘You Came’, ‘Never Trust A Stranger’ and ‘Four Letter Word’ were all international hits. The concert in the Oosterpoort is bound to be a feast of recognition!
