The rush was great, 2200 guests came to the ball in the Alte Oper on Saturday night and rocked the venerable walls – star guest Kim Wilde suffered a slight electric shock and broke off her performance! The British singer performed one song – “Four Letter Word” – then the technology failed. “Kim was supposed to sing six tracks. In the afternoon at the sound check everything was okay. In the evening after a song she only heard whistling in her ear. And got a slight electric shock. She had to stop and drove to Copenhagen, saddened,” said her manager Peter Goebel.
