Popstar Kim Wilde opened her Germany tour before hundreds of fans in the Stadthalle Höxter yesterday. The 46-year old world star hopped so lively over the stage, as the fan community has known their Kim since 25 years. Wilde one played her own hit parade: “Kids in America”, “Cambodia”, “You keep Me hangin’ on” and the comeback Duett with Nena “Anyplace, Anytime, Anywhere” – one superhit after another.
Also songs from her newest album “Never say never” with the hit single “You came” was in Höxter in her luggage.
The British Popsaengerin also gave a warm welcome to the Westfalen-Blatt Startreff competition, Kirsten Struck and Andreas Aufenanger, briefly before the concert in the town hall entrance hall. Time for a small talk and many photos remained for the family album.
Kim Wilde had already travelled in on Wednesday. With the promotion association of the Stadthalle she went to the autograph hour with city-strolls to Holzminden. Kim Wilde and her band stayed overnight in the Höxteraner “Hotel Niedersachsen”.
Yesterday the star went shopping in Höxter, in the afternoon a short trip followed to Corvey, where prince Viktor showed her around the gardens of the Castle. Kim Wilde had a very successful gardening programme on English television until before the tour and was enthusiastic about Corvey.
