Kim is daughter of Marty Wilde, a Sixties rocker from Great Britain. When his hits dried up in the Seventies, Marty had only one wish: to make his kids just as famous as he once was. It didn’t work with his son Ricky, but with his daughter Kim it did. Father Marty and son Ricky wrote the hits for Kim, starting with ‘Kids in America’. These days Kim is mostly famous for her garden designs and writing about gardens.
